I have posted on how to put together the perfect charcuterie platter - but it all begins with the board itself. In this case, two sides of live-edge kiln dried hardwood with beautiful grain patterns.
Of course I wouldn't want your new charcuterie platter from RusticWares to upstage your dinner party - or food, but sometimes it happens. I believe each separate item should stand on its own and have a story to tell. Please, please, please do not confuse that with having to purchase prosciutto that hung in the Italian Alps for one year tended by a kindly old man named Guiseppe. Assigning long back stories to food only serves to increase their cost.
Trust me that this board will become your go to platter for all occasions and serve as a work horse for years to come.
