Bees Wrap Instead of Plastic Wrap

I have written previously about SaranWraps decision to pull a crucial ingredient out of it’s chemical makeup even though they knew it would be detrimental to the overall performance of the product. I applaud their move and respect their corporate responsibility.
I keep a roll of the stuff around for beating down chicken cutlets or covering the bowl when making bread – but I found a much better alternative – Bees Wrap.
Bees Wrap is organic cotton infused with beeswax organic jojoba oil, and tree resin that can be used like a plastic wrap – but used again, again and again. I wrap cheeses and vegetables in mine – but I use it every day to wrap my wraps in.
All I do is heat it up a little by rubbing my hands on it then wrap it around whatever I want to keep fresh and voila – it holds to the contours of the half of lemon, sandwich, whatever and I am good to go.
Once I am done a little rinse in the sink and air dried and it is ready for it’s next use.
We have all heard of the great garbage patch floating around the Pacific Ocean like some sort of giant horrible zombie amoeba – why contribute to it? I bring my re-usable bags to the grocery store, recycle everything imaginable, compost all food scraps, use Tupperware when possible – why not extend that thinking to food wrap.
This is not a sponsored post or contain affiliate links – I just really believe in the stuff and want to spread the word – you should too.
