Slate Tile Cheese Boards

I was in my local market the other day and noticed they were selling brand new pieces of slate - made to look old for cheese boards.  Why?  Our slate cheese boards are made from roof tiles that sat atop a church in Vermont for a long long time - they even have the holes where they were secured - and the patina of the slate tile overlays!   These slate tiles are the real deal and the PERFECT way to present your cheese.

Since they are slate the cheese will not stick to them, and you can write the types of cheese next to each one in chalk - for quick and easy clean up.  The handles are finished with GOOD Stuff - a perfect way to protect the wood while bringing out the natural grain.  For the time being we have black walnut and maple handles - but there is a limited supply of both - and when they are gone - they're gone.
